You can be one of the limited number invited to join her at "girls camp," eating Gullah meals prepared and served by Gullah women, and learning lessons of time and tide. Talks on the front porch, back porch, deck and dock are complemented by walks on the beach and along the creek to enhance your understanding of Waccamaw Neck history and Pawleys Island ecology. Plan to arrive at noon on Tuesday to get settled and meet your new sisters, the dinner bell will chime at 1:15, depart after a leisurely breakfast on Thursday.
