Description: For more than a decade, local treasure Lee Brockington has been celebrating history, ecology and sisterhood at the Sea View Inn twice a year. You can be one of the limited number invited to join her at "girls camp," eating Gullah meals prepared and served by Gullah women, and learning lessons of time and tide. Talks on the front porch, back porch, deck and dock are complemented by walks on the beach and along the creek to enhance your understanding of Waccamaw Neck history and Pawleys Island ecology. Plan to arrive at noon to get settled and meet your new sisters, the dinner bell will chime at 1:15, depart after a leisurely breakfast on Sunday. Breakfast, mid-day dinner and light supper provided. $475 per person, double occupancy; $550, single. Fall dates to be determined.
